The nurse anesthesia department provides anesthetic services for 10 surgical departments to patients of all ages and physical status categories requiring anesthetic intervention or emergency responses. These services are:
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Pediatric Surgery
- General Surgery
- Ears/Nose/Throat Surgery
- Oromaxillofacial Surgery
- Genitourinary Surgery
- Obstetrical/Gynecological Services (Link to Obstetrical Anesthesia Page)
- Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Optholmologic Surgery
Additional services the department provides include pain management, airway evaluation/management, IV and trauma consultation/management.

General Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Total Intra-Venous Anesthesia and Monitored Anesthesia Care are available.
Anesthesia services available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week by in-house certified registered nurse anesthetists. Anesthesia providers are capable of providing monitored anesthesia care, epidural, spinal (intrathecal) and general anesthesia.
