Our Mission

As a team, the staff of Medical-Surgical-Psychiatric Nursing Section are committed to a nursing practice that respects and cares for all patients equally and within their social context developed an carried our in collaboration with patients and their significant others. We highly value creativity and use the multidisciplinary approach to problem solving. We are strong advocates of patients and actively support the Patient’s Bill of Rights. We are committed to staff development in education, research, training and fully support the Readiness Mission.

The Medical-Surgical-Psychiatric Nursing Section at William Beaumount Army Medical Center has a long tradition of excellence as a cohesive, patient care-oriented section. The nursing units are staffed twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year. The Medical-Surgical-Psychiatric Section includes:

  • Ambulatory Surgical Unit
  • Surgical Ward
  • Medical Ward with Pediatric and Close Observation
  • Inpatient Psychiatric Ward

All personnel assigned are dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our patients.

Our goal is to provide the best nursing and medical care possible. The staff of Medical-Surgical-Psychiatric Nursing Section takes pride in the services and strives to ensure that your visit is positive and uneventful.
