Department of Behavioral Health

The Department of Behavioral Health at William Beaumont Army Medical Center provides a comprehensive array of services to eligible Tricare beneficiaries in El Paso, Texas and the surrounding area. Our programs and services include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, evaluation and management of psychotropic medications, individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation and psychological testing, neuropsychological services, child and adolescent care, command evaluations, Medical Social Work Services and child and spousal abuse services. The Department of Behavioral Health has clinic locations at WBAMC, Ft Bliss Main post and East Bliss. Our current clinic services and locations include:

Warrior Resilience Center

What: Restores optimal functioning and battle-readiness to post-deployment Soldiers and their families using integrated state-of-the-art treatment modalities to stimulate maximum resilience.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Who: Active Duty Soldiers

What: Offer hope and healing for those experiencing psychiatric conditions. Our exceptional teams consists of clinical social workers, nurses, marriage and family therapists, experienced psychiatric technicians, and an occupational therapist.

Family Advocacy Services

Who: Active Duty Soldiers and Families

What: Emphasizes prevention, education, prompt reporting, investigation, intervention, and treatment of spouse and child abuse. Offers a variety of services to Soldiers and families to develop their relationship skills, parenting skills, and improve their quality of life.

Child and Family Behavioral Health Services

Who: Children and adolescents of eligible active duty Soldiers, ages 4 to 18.

What: Provides diagnostic evaluations, psychotropic medication management, care management, individual and family therapy.

West Bliss Behavioral Health Services
