Do You Have What It Takes?

Home / Departments / Education / US Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing

Being a nurse anesthetist in the Army is not just about your professional role in the OR. It is about being a soldier, and being a soldier means deployment.

Deployment is hard, no one can say it isn’t, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences you could ever have. It is a time and a place where you do not think about politics, economics, if a war is justified, or why a natural disaster took place. You just think about taking care of the wounded, whether they are soldiers, civilians, or even detainees. Taking care of the wounded is what we do best.

If you enjoy a challenge, if you like making decisions that directly affect those around you, and if you think you have what it takes to deploy and proudly serve as one of the few anesthesia providers taking care of our military, then the Army CRNA program is for you.
